Catheter tube printers
Manual Loading

Catheter tube printers have been built by TTN for decades. By modifying our Professional Series pad printers, TTN is able to manufacture a pad printer to move along the tranverse axis, delivering the pad to then roll print catheter tubes.

The TTN Professional Series pad printers allow for up to 25 programmable options to be stored inside the system to allow repeatability of pad pressures, stroke length, and other printing parameters.

Built-in tape cleaners keep these catheter tube printers running without operators taking downtime to clean pads during the printing process.

All of the TTN Professional catheter tube printers are built with anodized aluminum, stainless steel, and painted or powder coated surfaces and parts. This keeps your cleanroom clean, while maintaining FDA compliance. Scroll down to learn more how we keep your cleanroom, compliant.

Fully Automation

Catheter tube printers can also be built with full automation.  These include the ability to decorate a number of different size catheter tubes using the same machine.  The TTN servo driven catheter tube machine has near 100% repeatability, 99% uptime, and functions fully automated.  The TTN Servo catheter tube printers can contain loading, pre-treatment, drying, and even offers multiple roll printing options for super opaque image requirements.

Operators load catheter tubes into the catheter tube printer and select a pre-loaded program. The program tells the operator which pad and plate are required based on the tube decorating requirements. The TTN catheter tube printers will alarm when incorrect items are not in place.

Pad blowers and tape cleaners are standard in this machine to allow the most optimal cure times for inks and to insure the machine can duplicate the prints on the catheter tubes without error.

Leister hot air dryers can also be incorporated into the systems to facilitate faster curing of inks.

Internal measuring devices are used to precisely place the tubes so the TTN servo driven catheter tube printers can duplicate the print precisely and repeatability is maximized.

Every item inside our TTN Servo catheter tube printers can be customized and built to achieve the most demanding workflow.  Contact us below to start the process of seeing how we can assist your group.

Items to Consider when Cylindrical Pad printing for the medical market

  • Cleanroom Compliance Needs
  • Colors Required by Your Projects
  • Ink Type Required (Insertable vs. Class VI vs. Standard)
  • Size and Shape of Object to be Printed
  • Length of Object to be Printed
  • Pretreatment Options Needed
  • Artwork Required

Single Sided
Catheter Tube PRINTERS

Whether it is fully cylindrical or simply one sided, we can build a machine for your requirements. Our machine in the video to the right is using a corona treatment unit prior to printing the catheters to insure the ink adheres to the catheter tube. These catheter tubes are being printed two at a time. This manually loaded catheter tube printer could also have additional items like part unloading to assist in higher output. All TTN catheter tube printers have safety built-in along with CE certification.

We Keep Cleanrooms Clean

All of our TTN catheter tube printers are smooth and never texturized so they are cleanroom compliant from the beginning. They include:

  • Anodized Aluminum Surfaces
  • Metal-backed Pads
  • Steel Clichés
  • Smooth Surfaces with Minimal Cracks to Increase Cleaning Speed and Reduce Contamination
  • Powder Coatings to Further Resist Corrosive Cleaning Agents (Universal Series)

This keeps your cleanroom clean and compliant with cleaning standards, helping machines resist corrosion. So, wipe away!
