AM-Si is a two‑part silicone printing ink engineered for permanent decoration on silicone parts (wristbands, swim caps, keypads, medical/industrial silicone components, consumer goods). Available in room‑temperature cure and bake‑cure versions, in both glossy or matte finishes.
AM-Si silicone printing ink can be used for pad printing and screen printing. This ink is derived of silicone and will stretch and perform identical to your silicone parts with stretch, abrasion and heat resistant characteristics mirroring the silicone part it is printed on. AM-Si silicone printing ink is available in 13 standard colors, 4 metallic colors and is also available in Pantone matches.

How do I thin the AM-Si silicone printing ink?
Use AM‑SiT thinner; pad printing up to ~30%, screen ~10% typical.
What’s the pot life after catalyzing?
Approximately 8 hours.
Are there any chemicals that can inhibit the cure?
Avoide Nitrogen, Phosphurus, and Sulfur compounds as these will inhibit or prevent curing.

Does AM‑Si silicone printing ink work with both pad and screen printing?
Yes—both versions are formulated for pad and screen. Pad printing will require thinning the ink with AM-SiT Thinner up to 30%.
What is the storage life of AM-Si silicone printing inks?
Approximately 6 months if stored at 59-68° F (15-20°C).
Can this be printed wet-on-wet (one color on top of and right after another)?
Silicone inks need to be fully cured in order to make sure the next print sticks well. However, once the curing process is complete another print can easily be done.
Colors
AM-Si ink is available in 13 base colors and 4 metallic colors. The 13 base colors can be mixed to form Pantone colors. There are also four metallic colors as standard.
Custom Pantone colors and custom mixed metallic colors can be formulated depending on requirements.
